Community Events - 2017 Home Tour

The 2017 Home Tour - Saturday, September 23, 2017 - 10 am – 4 pm

Enjoy five homes, The Lace Museum, and refreshments!

Get on board for our 2017 Home Tour! This is our 21st self-guided tour of two centuries of homes in the Northville- Novi area featuring five private residences.

Each year, we try to feature five or six homes from these two eras, and present homes with historical significance, new renovations from area professionals, and homes in unique settings.

Our tour is self-guided and you must drive/walk yourselves. Our guidebook includes a description of each home and a map to follow. Hostesses will provide information at each home during your tour. During the tour from 2-5 pm patrons are invited to enjoy beverages and refreshments at Starring “The Gallery” AND a 10% discount on all purchases.

An added special stop to the tour this year is The Lace Museum on the lower level of Northville Square at 113 W. Main Street, Suite 160. This is a great opportunity to visit a salon-style museum with a rare and permanent collection of European and American homemade lace. Parking is available in the lot behind Northville Square.

Tickets are still just $20 each and are available through our members or with these merchants through Home Tour Day.

We also offer entering a “free ticket drawing” during spring for “Girl’s Night Out” in Northville and during the Northville Garden Club “Garden Walk” in July.

The tour is a major fundraiser for us done every two years. Funds raised are used to support our community projects like “Let’s Read Math” for 2nd and 3rd graders, Career Path Day for 8th grade girls, March Reading in Schools, “Remember the Ladies” (a project with book donations to each elementary school library), and scholarships for high school graduates and college level scholarships. All of these projects are aimed to both Northville and Novi, in support of our mission to promote opportunities for women and girls.

Hope you will attend this year!! For further information, please contact Jane Hecker, Chair at jhecker101@gmail.com or 734-276-6160.
